We work hand in hand with our user groups to ensure those they work for and with receive the best service possible.
Seconds Out Boxing
Seconds out Boxing academy
Seconds out were one of the first user groups to take up a room since Ferryhill Community Partnership took over the building.
They have been a resident at FSEC for over 10 years.
As well as having a first-class gym facility, they run boxing sessions for all ages from 3 year old to adults. They also offer personal training sessions with a full qualified professional.
Twice a year they host a home show at the centre. These shows consist of 16 bouts of Olympic-style boxing in front of a big crowd. Always a fantastic afternoon.

Ferryhill Indoor Bowls Club
One of our longest serving user groups is Ferryhill Indoor Bowls Club.
Indoor bowling is a great source of light exercise for all ages. It’s also very therapeutic and has many mental benefits.
Whether it be local competitions, mixed pairs or jumbles on a Friday evening - there’s something for everyone.
There’s also a social side to the club, often hosting events and trips away. It’s a great way to get out the house and meet new people.

Little Land of Adventures
Little Land of Adventures is our newest user group, having set up the Family Hub only recently.
Located on our ground floor, the Family Hub run a variety of classes for different ages. They are primarlily focused on giving each child the best possible start in life with classes designed to improve the bind between parent and child.
The classes range from baby yoga to messy play, all the numerous benefits to aid the child's development.

Chance Drama
The brilliant Chance Drama are also based at our centre.
Chance is a performing arts group, run by volunteers for young people in Ferryhill.
They run sessions on a Sunday at the centre but also through the week for their singing club. Every year they produce a fantastic show for the residents of Ferryhill. Their latest show is Frozen and tickets are available online now.

Team Warrior
Fancy joining a Dojang? Team Warrior Taekwondo are based at our Centre and they offer fantastic sessions with award winning coaches.
Students often compete in tournaments around the UK and Europe. They are famed for the success, winning many national and international awards.
Don't want to compete in combat tournaments? Team Warrior also offer technical training that focuses on patterns, balance and self-defence.
Ferryhill Miners United Youth FC
Ferryhill Miners United came to us two years ago as a newly formed team. They now have two junior teams and a "tots" development team. They play from our centre on a Sunday afternoon.
They are always looking for new players to join their growing team, so please come along and get involved.
They host regular fundraisers throughout the year and a yearly charity match with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
